In celebration of food and drink culture, as ever, this new piece offers a momentous statue of a stemmed cocktail. Elemental, iconographic, the dragged pen strokes turn the glass into a tidal body: churning, rolling, alluring, absorbing, ethereal, monumental.

Where my photography often presents a frozen, timeless version of a perfected occasion, by contrast these new Vessel pieces explore a more open expression of movement and an ageing acceptance of the passing of time.

Upon purchase it will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper and shipped in a protective cardboard tube/envelope.
