Celebrate the debonaire cocktail masterpiece with this joyous abstract image combining hints of ‘80s colour pop, ‘70s glamour and a contemporary pastel background. At the centre is a huge succulent olive with one single, promising drip of martini ripe for bursting.

Photographed in our London studio, this is the second image in the “Alcohol Free” collection (the first is available here) which explores how far we can strip away what makes a cocktail a cocktail and it still be visually recognisable, iconic and deliciously enticing.

MARTINI RECIPE, BOTTLE SIZE

500ml gin (Tanqueray 10 or Boatyard are the current preferences)
100ml dry vermouth (Noilly Prat)
100ml tea (lightly cold-brewed English Breakfast)

Fill a bottle and keep in the freezer till needed
Pour a healthy slug into a cold martini glass
Garnish with a lemon twist (squeezed and discarded) and an olive (definitely not discarded)
Repeat as necessary
